Public Consultation on a Proposed Cap and Trade System for Manitoba |

The Manitoba Government is seeking stakeholder views on using cap and trade as a mechanism to reduce Manitoba's greenhouse gas emissions. Manitoba's goal is to ensure a clean environment and a sustainable, prosperous future for generations to come. Stakeholder input will be important in helping further Manitoba's efforts to reach its emission reduction objectives. Visit Manitoba.ca/conservation and click on the link to "Cap and Trade Consultation" to review a brief summary of how cap and trade works and to share your views. Comments should be submitted online by March 15, 2011.
