The WCI is sponsoring an oil and gas industry collaborative on November 19, in Santa Fe, NM at the La Posada de Santa Fe from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mountain Time. Stakeholders are invited to attend in-person or via teleconference. There is no charge to participate in the meeting, but participants are asked to register to ensure sufficient capacity. The collaborative will focus primarily on emissions from exploration, production, and natural gas processing. Meeting objectives are to:
- Increase understanding of the oil and gas sector with an emphasis on exploration and production and natural gas processing;
- Increase understanding of the oil and gas sector’s GHG emission pathways and reduction opportunities;
- Discuss and receive input on critical outstanding issues in the sector including emissions reporting;
- Determine next steps for continued oil and gas sector engagement in the WCI.

In-person: The meeting will be held in the Montana Ballroom at the La Posada, located at 330 East Palace Avenue, in Santa Fe, NM, about 60 miles from the Albuquerque airport. Transportation options from the airport include:

New Mexico Rail Runner: Train service to/from Santa Fe. Upon arriving at the Albuquerque airport you would take the “Route 350” free shuttle that leaves the baggage claim area at 5:50am, 7:01am, 10:10am, 3:48pm, 4:57pm and 6:08pm and goes to downtown Albuquerque where you would connect with the train. The train departs from this stop at 4:09am, 5:13am, 6:15am, 7:26am, 10:35am, 4:13pm, 5:22pm and 6:33pm. Train tickets are $8.00 round trip and $6.00 one way. You would take the train to the Santa Fe Depot Rail Yard which is about 90 min. travel time. The La Posada is about 1 ½ miles from this stop and you call the hotel direct at 505-986-0000 for shuttle service. The La Posada provides shuttle service back to the Santa Fe Depot Rail Yard upon request for return train trips to Albuquerque. The train departs at 11:30am, 4:10pm, 5:17pm, 6:18pm, 8:15pm, and 9:30pm and travel time is 90 min. You would then need to take a shuttle back to the airport from the downtown Albuquerque train station.
