The Electricity Team addresses issues specific to the electric sector related to the design and implementation of the WCI cap-and-trade program.

The Team has assessed policy mechanisms for addressing electricity sector emissions, examined technical issues related to the First Jurisdictional Deliverer (FJD) approach, and researched issues related to reliability and electricity market efficiency in consultation with experts and stakeholders through conference calls, public meetings, and the release of written documents for review and comment.
